Su-Kam Power Systems named ‘Asia’s Most Promising Brand’ 2012–13 by the World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC), with KPMG India as the process advisor and evaluator.

Su-Kam Power Systems Limited was named ‘Asia’s Most Promising Brand’ for 2012–13 in the inaugural edition of the award programme run by the World Consulting and Research Corporation (WCRC). KPMG India served as the process advisor and independent evaluator. IT Voice, one of India’s leading electronics-industry publications, carried the announcement.
A pan-Asia recognition
The award recognised promising brands across fifty industry categories drawn from Asia’s leading business nations. Su-Kam was picked in the power electronics and inverter category — by then the market leader in Indian home inverters and a fast-growing exporter to Africa, Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Why WCRC picked Su-Kam
WCRC’s brief was to identify brands that had built genuine consumer trust and were on a credible growth trajectory across Asian markets. Su-Kam, then approaching ₹1,200 crore in turnover, had earned it through a decade of firsts — plastic-body inverters, sine-wave home UPS, solar-hybrid inverters — and one of the largest patent portfolios in Indian power electronics.
“Since its inception, we have worked towards creating the Su-Kam brand that would stand for high quality of products, services and technological innovations.”
