 Su-vastika Unveils New Lithium Battery Wall Mount 12.8V/80 Ah having 1 KWh capacity Model. This 1KWh  Lithium battery can be mounted on the wall, which can be a big space-saving and cost-saving for the user as real estate is getting expensive since there are no fumes or water toppings. It has the safety MCB and can be switched on and off if you don’t want to use it. It comes with the Anderson connector, which ensures that the installation Engineer does not make mistakes while installing the Lithium battery. The lithium battery is of LifePo4 chemistry, the safest proven technology in the world for the last three decades, and has been used in all kinds of usage like electric vehicles, mobile phones, drones, etc.

The benefits of Lithium batteries over living Tubular Lead Acid batteries are:

Longer lifespan: The lithium battery will last 7 to 10 years compared to the Tubular battery, which will not last more than three years.

Higher energy density: The size of the Tubular lead Acid battery and the size of the Lithium battery is beyond anyone’s imagination. The 150Ah Tubular battery is more than 60 KGs. The Lithium is just 10, which is easy for any person to take in hand and can install or remove, whereas the Tubular battery needs two people to handle, and if it is to be installed at the floor level, then you need extra labour to do the same.

Faster charging: The tubular lead acid takes 12 to 15 hours to charge completely, while a lithium battery is charged within 3 to 4 hours.

No maintenance: There is no maintenance required in Lithium batteries, and for Tubular batteries, regular refilling of water is required, which is very tough for any consumer himself as you need a service engineer who can do it only so extra money is shelled out in the maintenance of the tubular battery.

Price: The difference in pricing is very nominal these days as Lithium prices worldwide are falling, but the lead prices are mostly increasing every year, and if we consider all the factors, then we realize lithium battery price is lower than the Tubular battery price of 150 and 200 Ah capacity.

As a result of these advantages, lithium inverters are becoming increasingly popular for use in homes and offices for the Inverter/UPS, solar power systems, off-grid systems, and other applications where long battery life and high performance are important. The model 1024Wh battery can be compared with any existing Tubular battery of 150Ah capacity.

As we compare the two batteries in the capacity, we can see the backup time on 400W bulb load, which is equivalent, and if we test on 500W or more load, then the Lithium battery of 1024Wh will give higher backups. The Lithium battery comes with a C1 rating, and the Tubular battery comes with a C20 rating, used in the Inverter industry. Since the lithium battery has a C1 capacity, it’s designed to run higher loads. In contrast, the C20 tubular lead Acid battery is designed to run smaller loads as C20 means capacity divided by 20, say 150/20= 7.5Amps only, which means it’s designed for 100 Watt load if we want five years of life from this battery and can utilize 95% of its capacity. But the moment we put more load than that, the life and efficiency of the tubular battery are affected drastically. As the dealer and user do not understand the Tubular Lead Acid battery of c20 capacity, they use the Lead Acid battery for drawing 500Watt to 800 Watt load, which reduces the backup time and life of the Tubular battery as the Tubular battery backup will drop drastically and life as well. Meanwhile, the lithium battery has C1 capacity and can be used for higher loads; its efficiency and capacity do not degrade.

The lithium battery is cheaper than the tubular battery as its life is three times longer, and its capacity is more than the tubular battery if you compare the backup time of 500 watts and more.

As everyone knows, water topping is one of the major headaches in tubular lead acid batteries, and spillage is another challenge that permanently ruins the floor of the house. Getting the distilled quality water from the market is another challenge.

The Lithium battery 12.8V/80 Ah is more powerful than the 150Ah Tubular Lead Acid battery.

In India, the highest selling model in the tubular battery is 150Ah, having C20 capacity, and the same can be replaced by the 12.8V/80Ah battery, which comes to 1024Wh battery capacity, which can provide more backup if we use a 500-watt load or more than that load compare to the 150Ah Tubular battery.

The life of the Tubular battery started reducing as we put more load on the Tubular battery as it’s designed for smaller loads only. At the same time, the lithium battery life is not affected till we put a 1000-watt load on it.
