Su-Kam’s solar and power-backup footprint across Africa and Asia — documented through the company’s own field photos and Facebook posts. From a Kenya Commercial Bank plant in South Sudan to Bhalki village in Karnataka, and a mega-launch in Malaysia.

By the time Su-Kam Power Systems hit its stride under Kunwer Sachdev, its footprint was no longer just Indian. Solar plants, home lighting systems, inverters and PCUs were being shipped and installed across 90+ countries — with Africa and Asia carrying the deepest field density. This page collects the visual record of that work: dealer visits, factory launches, institutional deployments, and exhibition footprints.
Africa — from Lagos dealer floors to South Sudan bank branches
Su-Kam’s African footprint was built the way Indian solar has always been built: dealer-first. Kunwer Sachdev personally travelled to Lagos, Nairobi and other African hubs to onboard partners face-to-face. Institutional wins followed — including the solar PV plant installed for Kenya Commercial Bank’s South Sudan operation.

Asia — Malaysia mega-launches, China exhibitions
Asian markets got a different playbook: bigger launches, exhibition-scale showcases, and product debuts tuned to each country’s buying culture. The Malaysia mega-launch of Brainy1 1100 & Falcon 1250 at Kinhi Mabuya 2018 was a signature event — two flagship inverter products introduced to the Malaysian channel in one push.

And on the world stage — Intersolar Europe, Munich
Beyond bilateral markets, Su-Kam took its brand to the world’s biggest solar exhibitions. Intersolar Europe 2011 in Munich — the largest solar exhibition in the world — was the stage where the company put itself alongside global inverter and storage brands.

One instinct, two continents
What the Africa and Asia sets share is the same operating instinct: get the founder in the country, meet dealers in their language, build the channel with real product, back it with real service. That is how a Delhi-based inverter company ended up with the widest Indian solar footprint outside India — long before it became fashionable to say ‘Made-in-India export brand’.
