What the patent covers
The patent covers an IoT-based multi-battery-selection system — smart hardware that lets a charger or storage system automatically detect the chemistry of the battery it is connected to and pick the correct charging profile. In an Indian market where lead-acid, LFP, NMC and future-generation chemistries all co-exist, that is a foundational piece of IP.

A technocrat-led company
The company told TOI it is backed by a strong team of technocrats continuously innovating and filing patents across the energy-storage, solar and EV industries. This IoT patent is one node in a broader IP push — Su-vastika has filed roughly 60 patents in its first four years, matching the Su-Kam approach of using engineering IP as the moat.
Why it matters
India’s energy-storage market is fragmenting into multiple battery chemistries at once. A patented IoT system that detects chemistry and adapts charging is exactly the layer that lets one hardware SKU serve multiple markets — without the buyer having to change the storage device every time chemistry evolves. That is the practical meaning of this patent.
