ICICI Bank’s Film on My Journey

Around 2010-2012, ICICI Bank approached me to make a film about my journey — from a pen seller on Delhi’s streets to the founder of Su-Kam. The film was produced for their high-end customers and aired on media channels.

Why It Mattered

For a first-generation entrepreneur with no family business background, having one of India’s largest private banks feature your story is powerful validation. They picked us because the story resonated — not because we were the biggest.

Perfect Timing

By 2010, Su-Kam was at its peak — pioneered inverters, launched solar products, built manufacturing plants, distribution network spanning the country. The ICICI film documented a company firing on all cylinders.

The sleepless nights, the rejection from banks in the early days — it all led to India’s premier bank telling your story to inspire their most important clients.
