My journey as an entrepreneur has been anything but ordinary, filled with twists and turns that have shaped me into the leader I am today. I never set out with the grand aspiration of building a multi-million-dollar company, nor did I possess a meticulously drawn-up blueprint for success. What I did possess, however, was a burning insatiable curiosity about the world around me, an unyielding determination to pursue my goals, and a deeply rooted belief that every problem exists solely to be solved. This belief, forged in the crucible of my early experiences, has propelled me forward in ways I could not have imagined. As early as the tender age of 15, I began my entrepreneurial journey by selling pens to local shopkeepers alongside my brother. This initial foray into the world of sales gave me invaluable hands-on experience and insights into the nuances of customer interactions—a skill that has proven to be a cornerstone of my career in the business world. I launched my professional path in the cable TV industry, where I immersed myself in the art and science of entrepreneurship, gleaning knowledge through sheer experience rather than formal education. Despite my lack of a traditional academic background in technology or business, I was utterly fascinated by the mechanics of how things worked—how signals were transmitted through the air, how machines operated seamlessly, and how innovation held the power to revolutionize lives. This unquenchable curiosity became not just a trait, but my most significant strength and defining characteristic as an entrepreneur. It was this same relentless curiosity that eventually led me into the realm of power backup solutions, where I saw a pressing need in the market. During my early years in India, frequent power cuts caused significant disruptions in daily life, leaving people frustrated and seeking reliable alternatives. I noticed that many inverters and batteries on the market were hampered by issues of reliability, inefficiency, and outdated technology. Recognizing a considerable gap, I found an opportunity to create something transformative. Despite my lack of background in electronics, I dove headfirst into the world of learning, experimenting, and innovating, which ultimately led to the birth of Su-Kam. The creation of Su-Kam was far from straightforward. There were formidable challenges at every turn, from researching and developing new technologies to navigating the intricacies of manufacturing, sales, and customer service. Yet, I held steadfast to my belief in the power of hard work, perseverance, and relentless innovation. We made history by introducing India’s first MOSFET-based inverter and India’s first DSP-based inverter, alongside numerous other groundbreaking technologies that collectively changed the landscape of the industry. Su-Kam evolved into more than just a company; it became a catalyst for a energy revolution. We not only designed and produced cutting-edge inverters, UPS systems, and solar solutions but also committed to training thousands of professionals and setting unprecedented industry standards. However, as with any profound journey, life is filled with unexpected twists and turns. Despite our significant achievements, I found myself at a crossroads and made the difficult decision to step away from Su-Kam. But I firmly believe that true passion never fades. For me, the essence of innovation extends far beyond the confines of business — it is intrinsically linked to making a positive difference in the world. I was acutely aware that my entrepreneurial journey was far from over. Thus, the concept of Su-vastika was born, fueled by renewed vision and purpose. With Su-vastika, my ambitions have grown even larger. The global landscape is currently shifting towards sustainable energy, smart power backup solutions, and advanced energy storage systems. I am dedicated to developing patented technologies that will not only lead the way in creating reliable and efficient power solutions but also ensure they are environmentally friendly and equipped for the future. Today, Su-vastika stands at the forefront of technology, taking charge in lithium battery energy storage, solar energy innovations, and automatic power backup systems. Our goal transcends merely creating products; we are committed to building an extensive ecosystem of knowledge, innovation, and global impact. The integration of AI has become our guiding principle, and we are embedding intelligent features into each product to enhance their capabilities and make them smarter and more user-friendly. Outside of the demanding world of work, I find inspiration and much-needed balance through my personal passions and hobbies. Swimming serves as a mental cleanse, allowing me moments of tranquility, while whistling lifts my spirits and fills me with joy. Trekking feeds my adventurous side and reconnects me with nature, and yoga keeps my body fit and my mind clear. Additionally, reading fuels my insatiable curiosity and broadens my perspective on the world around me. These pursuits are more than just activities to pass the time; they reflect the same passion, discipline, and love for exploration that permeates every facet of my entrepreneurial journey. Upon reflection, if my journey has taught me anything, it is that success isn’t merely measured by the accolades we receive or the milestones we achieve. Rather, it is defined by the challenges we bravely overcome, the wisdom we generously share, and the enduring legacy we leave behind.
